o At the age of 12, Lionel joined as a firefighter cadet, marking the start of a career dedicated to first aid. Having become a volunteer firefighter-paramedic at the age of 19, he simultaneously pursued medical school at the University of Namur and then at the Catholic University of Louvain. His expertise led him to the Ecole Provinciale de Sécurité Civile in Namur as a trainer, before taking on the roles of scientific adviser and then rapidly coordinator of the scientific and teaching units of the AMU (Aide Médicale Urgente) section. He is currently specialising in emergency medicine at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The founder of our company, Lionel combines field experience, academic knowledge and a passion for teaching, making him a reference in first aid training.

Sébastien, co-manager and trainer at Secours and You, is an experienced firefighter and paramedic from the Val-de-Sambre fire department, to the rank of sergeant. Accumulating more than 10 years of teaching experience as an independent trainer before joining the Secours and You management team in 2024, Sébastien brings valuable expertise to his training. Dynamic and passionate, he offers dynamic training sessions where his operational experience and dedication inspire participants to excel. With Sébastien, each participant benefits from high-quality training, allowing them to master rescue actions and intervene effectively in the case of an emergency.

The story of Secours and You

Secours and You was founded by an emergency doctor and a volunteer firefighter, united by their field experience and their educational passion in the training of paramedics and firefighter cadets, with the mission of democratizing access and knowledge of emergency care. first aid in the face of a general lack of skills in this area among the general public.
